Vincent Price killed his way into my heart when I was about 15 and saw The Abominable Dr. Phibes. After that I saw Corman’s Poe cycle, as well as numerous other movies. I never knew much about Price the man, though I remember Corman saying Price was a kind and generous friend on a DVD commentary, and that he was a gourmet and an avid art collector.
